The Village Inn is Sumner's only locally owned Pub, which has always aimed to be your second living room, with comfy sofas, live music and rustic, hand made food with a few twists and turns to tempt your senses.
With over 20 years in hospitality, The Village Inn’s owners Cate & Aaron surely know a thing or two about what makes a local pub awesome. Having worked in pubs in and around London for 3 years before taking on their own in Battersea, they gathered the knowledge and experience needed to create something truly special.
Since returning to NZ they have honed their skills into a new exciting venture, a Gastro pub located in the heart of Sumner village. Now into it's fourth year, The Village Inn is proving to be firm favourite with locals and visitors alike.
