Gastro Bar and Restaurant
The Phoenix is Tauranga’s newest home of Monteiths, risen from the ashes of the most disastrous fire that occurred on The Strand. Well sort of. In 1916, 11 shops, a Hotel and a timber yard were reduced to ashes. Our name has been inspired by, and pays homage to the past and present fire brigade of Tauranga in our themes and touch points around the bar. Keep up the good work, and we look forward to sharing a beer with you.
